Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an analytical discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements:
- Three (3) years of experience in at least two data-centric information technology (IT) disciplines (e.g. such as data architecture, database management or data warehousing),
- Expert knowledge of and experience with data modeling and database design principles and standards (e.g. IEEE Standard 1320.2-1998 [IDEF1X] and UML Class Diagrams), including the ability to differentiate logical (business-oriented) data modeling from physical (database-oriented) data modeling,
- Experience with XML and XML-related technologies including, but not limited to defining and maintaining XML schemas (XSD)
- Experience providing data modeling support to SOA projects
- Experience providing data modeling support to BPMS process application projects
- Expert knowledge of and experience with data modeling tools, preferably IBM Rational System Architect (formerly Telelogic, formerly Popkin),

Job Summary |
Responsibilities: Have immediate openings for two individuals proficient in Oracle PL/SQL programming and previous experience in data management, quality control operations, data quality assessment, and providing excellent, timely customer service. This is a mid-level position responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of Enterprise Data used in AAMC web services, applications, and research. The individual in this position will contribute to developing, programming, implementing, documenting and monitoring standardized control processes for data cleaning, data matching, ETL and data quality assessment with the objective of assuring the highest level of data quality in AAMC data. This Data Management Specialist position collaborates with other staff to ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and privacy in all database and software projects. Other key responsibilities for this multi-tasker include: evaluating and implementing new data management tools, providingsupport for development and implementation of Master Data Management processes; and preparing reports of the quality of the data and effectiveness of data quality methods. This position will make a substantial contribution to the quality of AAMC's shared Enterprise Data.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree required (technical or data operations & analysis oriented). Degree may be waived with substantive experience in data operations, data quality assurance and customer service. A minimum of 4 years of progressive and demonstrated experience in large database data matching, ETL operations, database customer support, data integrity operations, data quality operations, and data quality assessment and analysis reporting. Strong intermediate or better Oracle SQL+ and PL/SQL required. Experience with UNIX a plus. Knowledge of Master Data Management processing and/or Data Quality Management certification a plus. Demonstrated organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Superior communication, writing and interpersonal skills. Major Duties:
As a Lead Workforce Information Specialist you will:
* Conduct studies on the design, feasibility, and implementation of new manual

Qualifications
To meet the basic qualification requirements for this
position, you must have:
* One year of specialized experience that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity
to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined
as experience that is in or related to the line of work of this position and
has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform
the duties of this position. More specifically you must have experience in conducting
studies on the design, feasibility, and implementation of new manual and automated

Systems Developer
Amtrak, the countrys rail passenger service has an immediate
need for a Systems Developer in our technology department located in Washington,
DC. This is a full-time position.
Summary of Duties: Performs standard and advanced analysis
of application systems physical database requirements; designs, implements,
and maintains SQL Server databases; develops database related standards and
procedures; and provides end user technical and consultation support.
Education: Must have Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related discipline,
or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Prefer
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline, and certification
in SQL Server
Database Administration.
Work Experience: Experience with the use of database tools, primarily Erwin,
and knowledge of Windows 2000. Also requires experience using and an understanding
of network protocols, and PC hardware and software configurations.
Other Requirements: Ability to perform problem determination, impact analysis,
and problem resolutions. Must feel comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
